ConText Editorial Services, Inc. is a small, woman-owned, freelance business established in 1998 as a sole proprietorship and incorporated in 2003. Nancy Sixsmith, editor and owner, spent eight years prior in various in-house editorial positions: copyeditor, development editor, production editor, and managing editor.

Over the years, we have worked with a diverse clientele, including publishers, small businesses, large corporations, nonprofits, universities and other academic institutions, and government entities, among others.

We have been successful in cultivating long-term relationships with clients, which enable us to reach a deeper understanding of their needs and the particular types of publishing they do. We strive to develop close client relationships with a high degree of trust while maintaining a positive and upbeat attitude with prompt responsiveness and flexibility.
